if bluesky suddenly announce it would shut down for good like pebble, do you think its users would join nostr or fedi/masto or twitter or threads or something else and why #asknostr

The only scenario I can see of them joining nostr is if someone with a huge following and well respected somehow wrote a 30000 word essay about how joining nostr is not in fact problematic but praxis. And laid out how they would create a community here amongst the 'nazis' and 'crypt0nfts'. Or something. Unimaginable really.

i think its 50/50 nostr and fedi, they wouldnt go back to twitter, theyre like 99% elon hater like ppl here and fedi lol

You really think that many for nostr? Let's say you're right, would it even retain all that many? Probably just adding an extra step to somewhere else.
