I still remember growing up when I had views that were anti-norm in Mexican culture and that were similar to conservative views, I would be called ignorant because I’m brown while a white person would be called racist. I always told people, I would rather be called racist even though I am not, because I don’t want to be called ignorant because it labels me as stupid lol.
