WHAT'S BITCOIN FOR YOU?

For nostr:nprofile1qyghwumn8ghj7mn0wd68yat99e3k7mgpzfmhxue69uhhqatjwpkx2urpvuhx2ucqyzxd58d2lvkl3kh52qzn8jaxndj947sv4acndc6phcdkdghfuk7askrj6su, it’s a game. A representation of the economic ladder.

“The more Bitcoin you have, the more you’re winning… but win too much, and the game breaks.”

You can earn it. You can mine it. You can’t fake it.

Talk of it being a game, winning the game and a 'representation of the economic ladder' all sounds rather weird to me.

Where he does get it right is enumerating the 2 ways to get BTC - either from someone else (earning or buying it, hopefully not stealing it) or by helping to run & secure the system ('mining').

Never really 'vibed' with Carvalho and I'm not really vibing with him here but might give the whole episode a listen to get a fuller take on this (influential) bitcoiner.

Totally fair. not every framing lands the same for everyone.

What I appreciate about John’s take is how it opens up conversation around incentives and value flow.

Please do give the full episode a listen, I’d really love to hear your two sats on it. Here’s the link: https://linktr.ee/allinbitcoin
