I think so. I’m working on learning cryptography better. Little by little have been studying a few things ( e.g. zkp’s), with the goal of getting up to speed enough on these things that I can participate in the discourse at the cutting edge.

I've been working on helping people set up nodes, and working on software to help merchants accept lightning using their own nodes! I have some accounting software I've written for CLN, and I maintain and teach CLN plugins.

nostr feels much harder to get engagement than Twitter.
on Twitter I just post stuff and then I have interesting conversations.
on Nostr it feels like I have to chase after people to get them to respond.
then usually they just ghost anyway and the effort feels wasted.
but I'll keep trying I guess! I like the idea of Nostr, and I'll definitely spend more time here if I can get some bolt12 zaps!

Seriously though, I think it grows on you after a week or two. Way lore interesting posts imo, and interactions more meaningful. Plus, no concerns about the what some algo might be doing to your psyche!
I'd rather have an algo recommend interesting things than spend 10x the effort for less fun
