I’ve never seen that on Nostr nor did I know it even existed on any relay. Thats a severe issue if so, especially when people say Nostr is early.

Assuming this is about porn on nostr, yes, it’s everywhere. Some is tasteful, tagged nsfw, and posted by the person themselves, but most stolen and reposted by automated spam accounts.

Other than efforts by Rabble and a few paid relays that filter it out, very little work has been done whatsoever on either the client or relay level to moderate, filter, or label this for those that want to.

Thankfully, I have seen none of that here. That said, nostr is ripe for abuse by that sort of thing, so it wouldn’t surprise me.

Wowza. I think nostr:npub17x7htjej3hgcqwqj86u9yvpcunhw6nz4zclzph2zfnlwe4v0yp8qrxvgap is still on the panel had to switch it off for a 10am mtg. Definitely curious if that’s her experience in seeing it because I haven’t seen it either.

Yes, we have encountered it on here and called it out, & recommended relays shut down that sort of thing.

Otherwise the working option is to mute it, which means we end up *seeing” that shit in order to mute it. It’s disgusting.

Right now it’s users telling other users “hey this is out there, mute this so you don’t have to see it like I did” and that sucks.
