Mathematical equations and abstract ideas cannot be patented because they are considered discoveries, not inventions. Patenting a Mathematical Truth would be equivalent to letting someone own a piece of reality.

If a mathematical formula or law is true, then it exists independently of human intervention. It’s part of the shared foundation of knowledge, like gravity or 2+2=4. They’re building blocks for everyone to use🫶
