#Nostr #wiki (NIP-54, Wikifreedia) is now completely broken. NIP-54 just changed to #Asciidoc while most articles are still written in #Markdown. Now everyone has to edit their articles.

I think it would be a good idea now to completely start anew and create an entirely new NIP for wikis defining entirely new event kinds, with the NIP defining one format that stays once decided for.

erm.. no, that's not "easier", it's exactly the same as "editing the articles". The way is to just make another client that actually respects the usual markdown (nip23)

Compounding the problem is that markdown blows with 872 different syntax methods. This is why long form posting on nostr ain't replacing my reliable static blog anytime soon.
