Currently writing a multiplayer game in Go with Ebiten engine. It's been fun to use an engine that is bare bones and doesn't provide the same frameworks as all the other engines.

Additionally using Go as a game language has been great so far, but waiting to run into hiccups (GC, etc.).

I'm writing a 2d game engine for my kids in ebiten, it is quite good. Too bad the input is state based and not event based, so I had to write a converter.
