Always good to reflect

One hopes aging and learning leads to wisdom. At the same time, it’s hard not to think those around you have learned i a similar direction. Dunning Kruger effect is fascinating. What wisdom do I have from those 50 years? I certainly didn’t think I’d get here. Have I learned a lot so far? Am I much dumber than I think? Do others know what I have learned from my experiences?

Fundamentally, our individual journeys and learnings need to be shared. And we learn from doing so too.

Your words are so true. Wisdom is of utmost importance. Those questions are important also. As I reflect, I want to be able to have led my family well, been kind to others, been faithful to God, used my valuable time wisely, learned from my many mistakes, etc.

You are so right that our learnings need to be shared with others. You never know who you can inspire to press on. Yes, PV

But you have to get over 2 things right. The ego is only one. Maybe am full of shit here but am recognising more that if I simply don’t hold back and just truly open up with thoughts that might be highly esoteric or from my perspective absolutely banal, I find many people are thinking about things either in a totally different way or totally different things to begin with. Sharing really is value. Our experiences are extremely varied and what might seem banal for one person could be of extreme value for another. Never hold back. Sharing with respect isn’t actually hard
