Whats a relay?

Don't overthink it. A relay is literally what it says it is. It's a server that relays info between you and others connected to it.

When you post a note it goes to the relays you're connected to. The relay(s) then push that note to everyone else that's also connected to the relay.

The more relays you're connected to, the more people you can potentially reach. The catch is the more relays your connected to, the faster your battery drains.

A relay literally passes notes between users. Simple as that.
