These people probably to some extent believe what they preach.

What would anybody have to pay you for you to play a fat sickish dude talking nonsense on TV? And you probably have to actually be a fat sickish dude.

No such price to hire me for roles like that.

Actually, his face does not look like a genuinely evil person, certainly not among the worst. Not totally incapable of thinking either. Just somebody who is unreasonably stubborn and has been mislead on too many things probably by too close people early on.
