Good thing you can cut background data for this app.
Try reducing the number of relays.
Data usage will drop, and the app will feel much faster.
Damn you're right, it feels much faster now
It will also crash less often.
Need to find the proper balance. If you don't have enough relays, you will miss notes.
Relays should probably talk to each others at some point 🙄
So far kept only the best relays in term of notes shown and deleted all the 0 post relays. But yes, in a future relays should communicate with each other
Loads of notes can also mean loads of spam.
This is Amethyst. It's very granular.
Use the icons on the left to select what you want to use the relay for.
You maybe don't need ALL relays to send you multiple copies of all events of the Global feed.
This will already save you a lot of bandwidth and your phone will cool down.
