Nostriches, I need your help.

Every tweet I put out on X that has the word “substack” in it, I get crickets. Roughly 10% of the engagement of when I don’t!

I put together a newsletter format of my work recently. I did it because hyperbitcoinization requires a narrative shift in bitcoin and the environment.

There is $23Trillion in ESG investment funds that is getting curious about bitcoin right now. But unless they have good data on why Bitcoin is positive for the environment they can’t invest. If just 1% of these funds got deployed into bitcoin it would life Bitcoin’s market cap to 3x its current level.

So anything you can do here to spread the word freely without an algorithm suppressing content would help a lot, and also be a victory for Nostr

The newsletter is short, punchy, lots of pretty charts, free, and made to be shared by non-bitcoiners to help orangepill them.

Instead of mentioning substack or linking to it in your first tweet, try writing up the most interesting findings with graphic and such in your first tweet, then add followup tweets that link to the full report. If you want to avoid the censorship, also publish a version on Habla.news and link to that instead (in followup tweet).

Ugh sorry to hear Daniel, I’m afraid it’s still a thing. Definitely noticing it more now that I have the rss feed through substack and when I share the substack link to share a pod (on the flip side really living substack as a format for the newsletter and pod feed!)

have you tried setting up a custom domain on substack, avoiding 'substack' in the links you post on twitter? does that get around the problem?

Have you thought about a LN paywall version? Pay sats to read each article…… I remember nostr:npub1guh5grefa7vkay4ps6udxg8lrqxg2kgr3qh9n4gduxut64nfxq0q9y6hjy used to have it on one of his sites. Was a mind blowing experience being able to pay sats to read a single essay.

Could be a helpful additional revenue/sharing mechanism. Wordpress has a plug-in.
