Agree, though the new film at least looks like it fits in between the first two movies.

Yes the new movie does fit inbetween the first 2 movies, but it’s set even before the events of the book “Alien: out of the shadows”
I have high hopes for it, Fede is the director, so hopefully he brings back Horror & Gore to the franchise. 🫡
I believe the Tv show is going to be set 30 years even before the 1st movie, so I guess they could make the story anything they please, but I at least hope there will be some callbacks in some way, just a few mentions of future information/future theories that we are all already aware of
I have hopes for it too, though they may not be "high" 🤣🤣.
I am impressed it's at least visually consistent considering its place in the timeline.
Covenant and prometheus fucked a lot of the lore up.
And im a bit autistic about lore...
