I just did, but for some reason BlueWallet isn't calling back to Damus... any idea why?

Are you using their custodial Lightning server? Try importing LN.tips or Alby into it instead.

LN.tips is fully NIP-57 compatible and works better inside BlueWallet than the default ones they give you.

I was sending from the wrong wallet in BlueWallet 🤦‍♂️ the ln tips wallet wasn’t the default
