I understand the frustration you are referring to. Sadly, I really don’t think the majority of people want to think for themselves. We (humans) seem instead to have such anxiety at the mere thought of actual freedom that we hastily give it away to the first charlatan who promises to know and share with us the “truth”. Whether we practice our cultural programming, religion, politics, brand loyalty, etc, examples of such behavior are everywhere.

I don't believe humans are afraid of freedom. they're like the people in the prophetic movies "Logan's Run" or more recently "Wall-e". they don't know any other way.
