I am currently throwing my support behind Emad Mostaque (ex Stability AI) and his Intelligent Internet project. The goal is to create a decentralised open source alternative to the centralised AI models offered by big tech. Essentially it aims to seperate the user and big tech by incorporating what are called II-Agents (autonomous software agents that follow a common set of rules called The Common Ground Protocol). The agent works for me, not big tech. So far, for me, it offers some hope for a buffer of sorts. We will see. 🙂
