Of course Max Keiser is a climate cultist 🤦‍♂️

Baby Boomers who are coming towards the end of their lives are the most susceptible to this narrative. It’s a means to externalise their existential crisis and that generation have always preferred externalisation.

I just dropped a myth

I understand people being freaked out about pollution, i do think we are destroying the air, water and soil. The whole anthropogenic climate change narrative based exclusively on carbon dioxide is obvious BS. Surprised Max cant sort that grift out.

Absolutely agree. The narrative is polluting the water (pun intended). People struggle to differentiate between real pollution and carbon dioxide.

The poisoning of the water and air are true pressing issues, while CO2 emissions is not.

In Bitcoin..

All heros must be slain

I think the climates of many regions of the earth is changing. Bush fires, droughts & floods all appear to be becoming more frequent & severe.

This seems more likely to be caused by poor land management and/or solar activity than by CO2 levels though. Water cycles & soil coverage have a dramatic impact on rainfall and temperatures in a region. Higher CO2 levels ironically probably help repair the damage/imbalances.

My issue is with the assumption that we adequately understand the problems & have a solution. It's the hubris of central planning that really pisses me off.

I think the ice core studies nailed coffin on CO2 drive hypothesis. We also had that big volcanic pop a couple years ago remember. Estimates increase of global atmospheric water content of 10%. Why are ocean currents speeding up when models say they should slow? Why magnetic field variation speed up? Why spin slowing? Someone messing with the matrix more likely?

Climate is changing but from what I’ve read the intensity isn’t worse, there are simply more humans on earth meaning more people are affected by such incidents.

Definitely agree the worst is caused by solar activity and for this alone it’s obvious we can’t control it - we are however better equipped than ever to mitigate any such effects, precisely because we can harness energy dense fuels to power machines which allow us to build more suitable structures, materials (ie clothing) and harvest more food/water. We can cool/heat spaces and light them and use computers to further improve mitigation (ie we’re not stuck using expensive beeswax candles to learn shit once the sun goes down and write everything down all by hand).

The exact problem is the hubris. That is what differentiates and makes these proponents into cultists, they are certain that humanity has this ability and refuse to accept that there are things that no amount of money or technology can change.

This is what got hijacked into a cult; humanity’s hubristic belief that because we are the apex predator, that we can do anything.
