I am all on board for Bitcoin, but Bitcoin isn’t the last hope. Even if they do defeat Bitcoin, the cat is out of the bag. With time, we can always make another money.

It would be tough to emulate. Bitcoin needed to grow slowly undisturbed for the first years. Satoshi was quite clear before disappearing that all the attention Wikileaks was bringing to Bitcoin was too much too soon.
Two monetary camps have formed… “tra I due litiganti il terzo gode” or paraphrasing when two people fight the third enjoys. Bitcoin is the third camp. The “we had enough” camp, and there are in my opinion quite a few “we had enough” countries that can reject both camps and chose Bitcoin.
The smaller the market cap in BTC of a FIAT currency, the easier it is for that country to switch to BTC.
