Is the nation state adoption of stable coins just a re-branding of CBDC’s? Seems like the foundation for CBDC’s under a different banner to me. Somebody talk me off the ledge on this one.

Govs backing stablecoins ≠ CBDCs.

Stablecoins: private, on public chains, less control.

CBDCs: centralized, surveilled, no escape.

One feels freer. The other doesn’t.

I’m open to correction, but that’s how I view them too.

Benking has it right, below….

It affords them (govt) more liquidity to buy their worthless treasuries; all while simultaneously guiding people (whether knowingly or unknowingly) towards Bitcoin. At the end of the day, everything is good for Bitcoin. Everything is good for God. All we need to do is keep relaxing into our true nature, be of service to others where possible, and let this divine comedy unfold.
