The egg.

Whatever gave birth to the first chicken egg was not a chicken, but a biological predecessor to the chicken. Therefore, the first Chicken started as an egg, before any non-egg chickens existed.

Case closed.

Only a creationist would believe that the chicken came first. Spontaneously manifested out of one of Adam’s toenail clippings to produce mankind’s breakfast.
