I think sometimes it is that simple, and sometimes it is much more complex, the individual knows better than anyone what works for them and what doesn’t. ND is a spectrum, nobody is completely free from unique mental characteristics, and some are dysfunctional. The entourage of combined “mental illness” make humans unique, and talented in some ways, dysfunctional in others. My experience with autistic spectra is that in some ways it is a superpower, and in others a serious liability. For me, management is the key.

If we know that someone MIGHT have ADHD why dont we simply give them treatment and then see what happens? I just don't see a good reason to be gatekeepy other than you want to feel special or something
