Nostr Web Client

I think this idea has merit. A user setting that is basically, "must have zapped me at least 1 time to comment in my posts". Not to make money, zaps can be sub 1 cent. Just to reduce the AUTOMATED FUCKIN SPAM. 😡

Something like that.

So long as this can be opted in or out, yes. I'd like to see filtering by words as I have someone who creates multiple new keys daily, but posts the EXACT same message. I can filter that ID, but see the same text at least three times daily, sometimes more.

And as I understand both things can be done at a client level, no need to reprogram the Nostr protocol. Heres a great opportunity to make your client stand out, developers.

I don’t think you can stop people from commenting. Could have the app block comments from reaching your ui though.

I've noticed when I check posts in Primal it shows any spam posts in reply. Neither iris nor Snort show these. Not sure what the difference is or if there's a setting set (or not) in Primal, but since you mentioned using Primal before I thought it worth noting...

Simmilar what Adam Back introduced ling before Bitcoin. Every email would have been signed by a “PoW” mechanism. Good idea.
