I still get a fair bit more engagement on the Fediverse than here. Primary I think there’s more people in my time zone and a much more established music community.

One thing that’s great for musicians there is the annual Fedivision event, a take on the Eurovision Song Contest.

It’s very open, all abilities welcome and a tonne of people vote. People give feedback on songs, which can be very helpful. All in all it’s a lot of fun!

Do you think the music community here is developed enough to try? What if the prize was sats and the voting process was sat from listeners?

It could be a great way to get a bit of vibe going.

From a technical perspective, could some sort of multisig wallet be used to run the voting process or would one of the existing V4V platforms be interested in hosting? I could supply a hosting domain if needed but the lightning/zap side is way outside my skill set.
