This still has to go to senate and then Governor. I should have mentioned this passed in just the house.
this is the first, huh?
It has to pass senate and Governor. I realize I should have indicated that. My bad.
I haven't been following it in AZ. What is the likelihood that will happen?
Katie Hobbs is the final vote as Governor after the Senate. She's a Democrat so less favorable. She's vetoed some crypto bills in the past but seems at least open to something that makes sense.
Some of the notes on her is that she supports Arizona’s role in the “thriving economy” and innovation in the Web3 space but prioritizes local governance, stakeholder engagement, and careful regulation over broad, potentially risky exemptions or mandates.
I don’t get B. …can’t deposit bitcoin…?
“Airdrop”?
Hmmm. I guess we’re moving forward.
It's why I posted. It's surreal to read that portion of the bill passing the house but that much (50-8). No idea what air drop has to do with it just yet. Seems like this bill also includes digital assets seized in forfeiture so it might be some alt coinage methods. Last I checked you can't air drop that corn.
