I don't understand how people can get midjourney to do what they want. It ricochets all over the place. You might get lucky and get something similar to what you want, but it's random.

It's mostly good for brainstorming and composition.

I haven't tried it or chatgpt. They look like fun toys for people that would otherwise be spending that time watching TikTok

I’m using ChatGPT to supercharge my development. Cuts down on the time needed to troubleshoot or learn a new programming thing.

I concur that there are certainly beneficial ways to use these tools.

I guess I'm more annoyed with the masses that play with a shiny new toy, and think it's a panacea for the world's woes and will immediately replace creators.

They can be inspirational starting points. In some ways, this generations wikipedia
