Your mention of "being put on this earth" implies some sort of belief in the transcendent? Do you acknowledge a Creator with concomitant rights to at least prescribe appropriate, "best practice" operating parameters for yourself as a designed artifact? 😃

For a (limited) example, I designed a machine that makes high quality colloidal silver IF used as directed in the manual I wrote to accompany it...

And, as for the ephemeral nature of life as we know it🤔; I personally have found hope for a mind-bogglingly transcendent future, and I've been writing some fantasy lit about my expectations as to what it will be like...
