This is an incredibly bullish setup for the US it has a solid foundation to build off of starting from much higher point. as for the chinese could be a blow off coming.
The statistic really matters average energy consumption per capita. Basically how much the quality of life is improved per citizen per TWh. Most of the energy production in china is actually consumed outside their borders whereas the US do not build many export goods so the energy produced is locally consumed.
Made in america will reverse this chart. Plus communist love these blow off tops overproduction are under production is their specialty. I would not short the chinese side of this yet but it looks good for positions long american.
