What's the advantage of dual channel over opening one with 6m and sending 3m out via lightning?
Well, where are you sending those 3M to? If you just want to rebalance (destination = you) you'll need to find a circular route for those 3M that ends in your node, and each hop will charge forwarding fees, which will incur a cost. Opening a dual funded channel opens a balanced channel directly at 0 cost. with just one bos command.

I have a public and a local node. I will open a dual funded channel between them to practice. Then ping you back for more dual channels to up my game into higher tier node status.
