I’m more into social commentary and the arts.

I also have a decent “nose” for extrapolating.

Monero is more private…but in a world where one of the biggest issues is accountability…I suppose BTC would be best for a world reserve currency…for the governments to settle and be audited.

And Monero, a kind of “layer 2” for citizens and other more individual folk.

It’s not the duty of every person to be set to the open standard of money BTC embodies; but it is the government’s.

Flaw for individuals (perhaps) but certainly not for centralized authorities.

Accountability still isnt an issue on monero (atomic transactions were implemented a while ago), but i do see where you are coming from.

I no almost nothing about monero; but simplicity is a feature when it comes to global reserve and settlement, as is transparency, etc etc.

But it’s also sustained with nodes that are cheap/free. Allowing plebs to hold the reigns as well
