It's scan-able QR codes with integrated images.
John's been working on that for a while, trying to get images to produce QR code blocks while still being images visually and actually be able to scan them.
Additionally he's working on getting image AI's to generate these types of QR images, which is what was done here.

That's a combination between qr code and generative AI. Mastering generation process is a difficult task.
