So...as an American the term "making dozens redundant" was utterly confusing. I thought the headline was trying to say SBD was making their competition redundant 🤣 We call that "layoffs" on this side of the pond.

One of the major #powerlifting equipment and apparel manufacturers is laying off employees. I don't really see this as mainly due to inflation but that the company is trying to grow too fast into a niche market. I own SBD gear, and the stuff is extremely high quality. My wrist wraps and knee sleeves are still going strong after 8 years of use. I imagine it is hard to expand a company focused on making high quality products when the products produced by said company could outlive it!
