I currently find it difficult to give people just one signer to recommend for their life savings. Even though multivendor multisig can be a real challenge, especially for people who don't want to deal with it

Iā€™m with you. I think bitkey is a safe place to start to build up confidence and then either a cold card single sig or Unchained multi-sig once the stack is hefty and they can pay for concierge to help onboard them.
