Yes the percentages are off. We are likely still only at single digit adoption.
But from a raw fiat purchasing power perspective, rather than number of users, we may very well cross the chasm in 2024.
Maybe looking at U.S. only instead of global adoption? Not sure how you could know exactly how many Americans hold btc though. Impossible to get an accurate number right?
Latest numbers/ estimates I have heard is 500 million “crypto” users. Not even users holding bitcoin in self custody.
There are 8 billion people on earth.
Nothing sophisticated math but that’s less than 1% adoption.
