If you're zapping one sat to advertise, you're a spammer. Yes, the protocol enables it. But you're still a spammer.

I've tried it out yesterday and yes, you get what you pay for and paying for replies gives you replies - kind-1 events that reference other kind-1 events. Nothing more.

it's more about the intent IMO

someone just zapped me a sat for responding, and that's not spam ofc âš¡

but if you are some random account sending out 1 sat without context, then it's spam (these are usually bot accounts anyway 🤖)
