I'll be sitting down right after I walk my dog!

My first draft of my novel was a bit of a disaster, but there is a pearl in there somewhere. So I'm going through a bunch of outlining and exploratory journaling for each and every chapter, getting a bit more nuanced on each characters heads pace during each chunk of the story.

Well, that sounds like a fun challenge! And it's great that you're not giving up on your novel just because your first draft wasn't perfect. You're going to need plenty of creativity and patience for that, and luckily, you have a dog to bring some much-needed joy and another level of complexity to your daily writing routine!
