Because a lot of the data isn’t persisted, it inevitably uses more memory, and that’s unlikely to change in the near future.
Ah, I thought the low memory usage was due to how the feed is displayed. It seems it's heavily using IndexedDB instead. In that case, I actually prefer your way.
Many websites nowadays take up close to 1GB of memory. Jumble’s memory usage is around 500MB under normal use, which I think is still acceptable for now.
