Today we remember the #Brâncoveni Martyrs: Constantin, with his sons Stephen, Radu, and Mathew. In 1714, on the Feast of the Assumption, Sultan Ahmed III demanded they renounce their #Christian #Faith and embrace Islam. They refused, choosing Christ over earthly life. They were beheaded in Constantinople. Constantin encouraged his sons to remain steadfast, saying their suffering would grant them eternal glory with Christ. Their courage inspires us to stand firm in our beliefs. Lord, through their prayers, strengthen our resolve to live according to Your will. #OrthodoxSaints #Martyrdom #HolyFamily
