I still argue in my brain about the best way to do it. Its all about pros and cons. Coldcard signing device is most talked about, and i use that. But lately i've been thinking about playing with a Seedsigner device. I like the simplicity of a statelesss signer. But really, maybe having multiple methods of storage is best. For anything new that i want to try, i can find a video about it on Btc Sessions. He's great at showing how to set up anything.

Having an off-line cold storage device is a must. What I was referring to was mixing UTXO’s in order to create an output that increases privacy between the KYC exchange I buy my stats at and the final cold storage device.

I understand enough to ask that question, but not enough to execute. BTC Sessions is great, but I’m not sure what to search for. Any suggestions?

Thats something thats a little over my head. I know sparrow wallet used to have a mixing option, but i dont think they do now. I have heard others say that if you do a couple extra hops, you can get great privacy. Like from exchange, to liquid, to lightning, then back on chain. I havent done this though. I listen to Jor's podcast, Daily Bitcoin Journey, and sometimes on his q&a shows he'll go into some of that. Plus i think he would answer questions if you contact him. Super cool guy.
