Still, a great tool for personal spending. Self custodial lightning tools have too high latency and defeat the entire purpose imo / happy to be proven wrong but have tried Zeus connected to my node and slow af, especially if using tor.
Tor is your issue. Try Lightning Node Connect or Tailscale instead
It will never happen in my understanding. The way open source works is that some nerds start writing code for their own use, then eventually some companies want to use that software and invest to maintain it or to add features they need. VC funding open source projects out of intetestest is just giving money away without any profits to take.
