I'm not an orthodox Christian, so, please do take roots with a grain of salt:
Christians are called to live under the ecclesia (church), not a secular government. Remember that God did not want the Israelites to be under a human king. Human government is anathema to God's Lordship.
I'd like to know what others think about this, too.

Merely an inquirer myself, so I can’t answer.
I appreciate the engagement, we're all just asking questions here
Not much content out there specifically addressing the Christian Nationalism niche from the perspective of an Orthodox Christian.
This video is decent: https://youtu.be/n2r7O7zszqA?si=-iC78kLboQFMktk-
Orthodox Christians are pro-theocracy, but not in the same way Christian Nationalists are.
First of all you said christian nationalist govt, not orthodox christian nationalist govt. Anyway, to be honest, i find it rediculus. Having the same government with Russians or Bulgarians etc because of orthodoxy makes no sense. As i learned recently, Russia alone has more than 190 minorities and some of them are Buddhists, Muslims etc. We have Muslims too. And what language should we use? That would be like the Babel story...
Having said that, the state and the church in my country are not distinguished... So your question was good 👍
