Maybe a good opportunity to start talking about those things here? Be the change you want to see, possibly? š§

Seems like most of the people on here are Americans, who really donāt care much about that. And even if so, Iād have to create a new account for thatš¤
I can almost guarantee no one wants to talk baseball with me on here, but Iād love to be wrong
You wonāt know until you try! You do have the advantage of front running all the accounts that havenāt left twitter for Nostr yet!
Itās really intimidating.
Not really, what makes you feel like that?
Not sure, Iām fairly shy so for me to start a convo has to be about a passion otherwise anxiety will kick in and posting isnāt fun anymore.
I kinda feel like itās Twitter PTSD. The whole 1 post and you lose 50 followers turned out to be a bootcamp in self censorship so now Iād just rather not post.
Either way itās a fear response that I realized just now I gotta work on⦠thanks guyš«¶š½ I love a good epiphany.
Do whatever youād like here! If you want to build a community, go for it, otherwise no pressure. Donāt let your mind be dictated by the actions of others. You can only control your thoughts and your actions. Whatever others say or do is out of your control. Ironic for me to be saying this of course š
I think thatās more about how much value you attach to your follower count really. If you rate it really highly, then ofcourse you want to not have any extreme takes etc., but if you just want to vibe, you can post whateverš¤š¤·āāļø
Youāre pseudonymous. You can let it rip. š
No one needs to know your accounts are linked and thereās no need to link your real life identity to one or either account. So a fresh slate without any impact to your personal reputation š
š¤š¤š¤š¤ Really making me consider this
what's intimidating, being the change ? and also, why do you feel that way?
Most definitely⦠if being the change were easy Jonah wouldnāt have ended up in the belly of a fish š
Bitcoin is an awesome example. Most people will get it and love it once someone has explained to them why they need it. Hard part is to truly make sure they understand you have to tell them they know nothing. Thatās where the issues lie. You either expose your own vulnerabilities as an olive branch or they shut down for you trying to expose theirs. Itās not easy regardless.
