No problem. Religion is tax exempt.
Not really. People crave an idol. People are also spiritually retarded by default, and worship the first thing they see that transcends their understanding of reality.
Bitcoin is a great condender in that regard, as is the Gita or the Bible or the Quran or the winds, rain, sun, or moon. But worshipping any of these without seeing the God within them is the fundamental oversight that keeps people spiritually deluded.
