Can you describe the problem you had with Alby? Did you paste there your nsec?

- Alby allows me to sign up
- gets to a page where I can request a one time code
- I enter the email and hit enter
- I then get the message "Connection failed (Alby client was not initialized)"
- Tried doing it also with Brave shields down for the page to see if that was the issue, the problem repeated
This is all in Brave, interestingly enough I didn't have an issue with getting Flamingo up and running
We guess you are talking about getalby.com web account - where you can get your @getalby.com LN address and a wallet.
But for Nostr log-ins and use, you should use the Alby Browser Extension (for Chrome, Brave, Firefox). You paste your nsec there.
The Browser Extension can be connected to the Alby Account or other lightning wallet, it doesn't require log-ins.

I was able to get the Alby browser extension going after a little nudging. Thanks for the tip, I'll be exploring it.
