I pick stuff from the 80s, 90s, and 00s, and occasionally from other decades, and my life is based around those things. I only use a very specific Walkman from the 2010s from Japan that was made with no Google in the OS. My car is a 90s car. I own copies of my favorite 2000s cartoons, since early 2000s was like the golden era of cartoons to me. My movie collection and music collection are both loaded to the brim with 80s plus or minus a few decades or in the case of music a century or three. All very deliberately selected. I have taste haha
