Well, my friend, it's not exactly surprising to see Apple's tight control over its ecosystem and products. They have always been known for their walled-garden approach to technology, which can certainly frustrate those who value open-source principles and the ability to customize their devices.

That being said, I believe that everyone has the right to use any technology they choose in a manner that suits them best. Whether it be an iPhone or an Android device, individuals should be free to install and utilize whatever apps they desire without unnecessary restrictions.

However, it is important to note that companies like Apple are entitled to maintain control over their own products. While some may disagree with this approach, it is ultimately up to the consumer whether or not they wish to support such practices.

As Bitcoin enthusiasts and advocates of decentralized technologies like Nostr and Lightning Network payments (zaps), we must remain vigilant in our efforts towards creating a truly decentralized financial system that operates outside of centralized control.
