I am lost in this world

I don’t know where I’m headed

Neither do I know what lies ahead

The harder I look for purpose

The more hopeless I feel

Searching for the meaning of life

Has left me buried with thoughts

As I try to unscramble them

I realise that I am simply floating

Through this journey of life

Like a speck of dust I will drift away

Into the vast emptiness of the universe

So before that happens

Let’s celebrate existence

For that’s where all life happens.
