It's quite interesting that nostr adoption (and retention) outside of b!tcoin twitter perhaps doesn't necessarily seem that tied to zaps (/ zap bribing /incentivising?).
Cool to see a community from elsewhere moving here, and they are active in threads and all that. P stark difference to the super'prove it'model 'influencer' 🤔

Zaps are cool, but the circlejerking around it is not.
Focus on building cool shit on top of Nostr, rather than finding ways to extract money from retards that'll zap anything just because.
I knew about Nostr long before I joined it (thanks, Minds!) back when it was just a spec being talked about on Xitter and the fediverse, and I still have as much confidence in it now as I did back then; the commodification of it might just kill that for me.
