How come some churches have such visceral reactions to LGBT folks yet welcome gluttons, liars, adulterers, thiefs and those who often and publically fail to obey the golden rule? I don't get it. Why react so strongly to a behavior Jesus never addressed and so mildly to sins he did preach about? Why?
