You still have to be careful with KYC in those apps though. If you're using a payment app like CashApp, you're using KYC upstream.
True. Only your peer has the minimal info revealed through your fiat payment method. And the payment app does not know you are buying bitcoin. Not perfect but marginally better than using an exchange in terms of privacy.
